Implementing Fellowship One
Fellowship Technologies offers several different Fellowship One® implementation packages to meet the needs of churches of all sizes. Our primary goal of the implementation process is to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the church and its ministries through the use of Fellowship One. Implementation packages are comprised of Service Offerings bundled into three distinctive Implementation Methodologies: Turnkey, Assisted, and Custom. Fellowship Technologies also provides add-on services for the implementation of Fellowship One WebLink and Giftedness Programs; as well as other customer-tailored implementation services.
Service Offerings
Delivery Services
The Delivery Services team consists of experienced individuals that guide churches new to Fellowship One through the implementation process. They work closely with the church’s leadership to ensure everyone is fully trained, that the system is properly configured, and that the data is correctly converted from the previous church management software package to Fellowship One. Most importantly, Delivery Services mentors the church through the change management process that is present but often ignored in software implementations.
Education Services
Education Services, or as we call it Fellowship Technologies eUniversity (FTeU), is responsible for the initial product education of a church new to Fellowship One. This team has developed a curriculum of classes covering the features of Fellowship One that are taught online by a live trainer. During the implementation process, church staff or volunteers register and participate in FTeU classes to learn the effective use of Fellowship One features relevant to their ministry or administrative responsibilities.
In conjunction with the recorded classes, FTeU offers live, instructor-led Question & Answer sessions in a group setting to clarify any issues arising from the recordings. These are held daily on a predetermined schedule.
Data Management Services
Data Management Services provides conversion expertise in the extraction of data from a church’s current church management software vendor or custom database and insertion into Fellowship One. In most cases, this process consists of two conversions; the first is a trial run to allow for testing and the second for going live into production. As part of the process, comparisons are made to validate record and giving totals.
Customer Services
The Customer Services team provides the church with access to continuing education classes, customer support (online, email, and phone), and proactive customer care. Approximately 45 – 60 days after go-live the church will be proactively contacted by a member of the customer services team to schedule a free follow-up phone consultation. The purpose of the consultation is to gauge the success of the implementation, review the church’s use of Fellowship One, garner feedback from the church, and make recommendations as warranted.
